This is the FastFifty.

The FastFifty is a music chart compiled by a music and chart enthusiast, by combining a selection of music charts (of several countries, and European and Global charts).
Most charts measure a track’s popularity. And because a track can remain popular for weeks, months, sometimes years, those music charts have a lot of ‘older’ tracks in them. This prevents new hits from entering.
I mean, I like ‘Ordinary’ by ‘Alex Warren’, but after 30 weeks I’m ready for something new…
To make this chart be ‘faster’, the number of weeks a track has been on the chart is weighed heavier every week.
This way, a track will almost always fall off the chart after around 20 weeks maximum.

This calculation results in a weekly Top 40, which is completed with fresh tips in number 41-50. A tip can at most spend 4 weeks in the tips-regions (41-50).

If you have any tracks you think could be added to the Tips section, e-mail us at info@fastfifty.nl, or message us on mastodon
